AWRI Advanced Viticulture Course

Eight young or new career viticulturists and vineyard managers to attend the 2022 Advanced Viticulture Course thanks to sponsorship from NSW Wine and the NSW Department of Primary Industries (DPI).

The intensive four-day course, presented by the Australian Wine Research Institute, is valued at $2,900 per student.

Students will learn the latest techniques and technologies in viticulture and travel across a number of South Australian regions to visit sites and meet practitioners who are at the cutting-edge of Australian viticulture.

Applications are now open and will be focussing on the next generation of emerging and new career NSW viticulturists and vineyard managers where possible.

The Advanced Viticulture Course dates are:

• Monday to Thursday, October 17 to 20 (four places available); and
• Monday to Thursday, October 24 to 27 (four places available).

Applications close on September 15.
