Enjoy a train ride at the Australiana Pioneer Village on St Patrick’s Day, Sunday, March 17.

Dress up in your lucky green clothes and head on out to the Australiana Pioneer Village on Sunday, March 17 from 10 am to 4 pm. The Village’s friendly volunteers have arranged a full day of fun for the whole family, including music, games, rides, demonstrations, animals and displays.

When it comes time for something to eat, you can purchase something from one of the eateries located within the Village or you can bring your own.

You can even take advantage of the barbecues to cook for your family for free.

Take a walk through everything to offer in the Village and meander through the shops.

Train and tractor rides will be available for an additional charge. Entry fees are:

  • Children under 5 years, free;
  • Children, carers and seniors, $5;
  • Adults, $10; and
  • Family pass (2 adults, 2 children), $25.

The Village accepts cash or cards and is open every Sunday and public holidays that fall on Mondays.

During the school holidays, it is also open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The Australiana Pioneer Village will also be open Easter Sunday and Monday at the end of the month.
