Could You Laugh For A Good Cause?

RuffTRACK

Book a ticket at RuffTRACK’s monumental night of comedy to raise funds for a permanent RuffTRACK Farm.

The saying goes, “don’t read a book by its cover”.

The same could be said of the people we brush shoulders with every day.

We don’t always know, just by looking at someone, what road they’ve travelled, whether it was a well-maintained street, a cobbled lane or a really rough dirt track - and sometimes people find themselves in trouble because they were not directed to the right road rather than they chose the wrong path.

That’s why organisations like RuffTRACK are so important, but they need your help to raise some much-needed funds.

So, they are kicking off their fundraising events for the year with a bit of a laugh.

That’s right, they are holding a Comedy Night in The Lyceum Room at Castle Hill RSL Club on Friday, May 5, hosted by Ryan Gallagher with Matt O’Neill, David Tulk, Annie Boyle and CJ Fortuna.

Tickets are available at www.rufftrack.com/events and they cost $33 per person or you can reserve a table of eight for $240.

Doors open at 7:30 pm for an 8 o’clock start.

The aim of this year’s fundraisers is to raise money for a forever farm so that the kids that end up at RuffTRACK have a permanent place to call home.

RuffTRACK supports young people between the ages of 12 and 17 who have disengaged with school and the wider community to re-plug into education and develop skills they can use in life.

The team at RuffTRACK works closely with Hawkesbury police to help youngsters, who might otherwise be on the police radar for all the wrong reasons, change their lives.

Youngsters who join RuffTRACK bond with a dog early on, forming a partnership that teaches responsibility, caring for others and non-violent communication.

On Saturday, May 27, RuffTRACK will hold a Fundraising Dinner at Northern Beaches at Manly Leagues Club for $130 per person.

Hosted by Farmer Dave, co-founder of RuffTRACK, this event will include a buffet dinner, drinks and live music. Tickets are on sale now.
