Beauty and grace were on display at the Hawkesbury Show on Friday and Sunday, April 23 and 25.

Tic Toc Equestrian owner and coach educator Sandra Tremier said that all of her riders had performed extremely well.

“We competed on Friday and Sunday,” Ms Tremier said.

“My students placed in all the classes.”

Tic Toc Equestrian is a European standard riding school in Freemans Reach, NSW.

The riding school has been operating for four to five years, ever since Ms Tremier decided that she was ready for a small change.

“I’ve always been into the horse-riding industry,” she said.

“When I came to Australia (from France) I was focused on competitions, travelling around the country.

“Being on the road all the time can be tiring, so I decided to go back to the basics.”

That is when Tic Toc Equestrian became a reality.

The name for the school was borrowed from one of the greatest horses of all time, Kibah Tic Toc.

He was an Australian born and bred horse that became an Olympic double gold medal champion at the Barcelona Olympics in 1992.

He was 17 at the time, ridden by Mathew (Mat) Ryan.

Tic Toc Equestrian specialises in show jumping, and teaches beginner classes to students from three-years to 70.

“We have a competition team, mostly competing with my own horses,” Ms Tremier said. “Some use their own horses.

“If the weather permits, we are travelling to competitions three weekends a month.

“We only do small competitions.”

Most of her current students compete in events, jumping from between 15 cm to 1 metre, 5 and 1 metre 10.

Ms Tremier said the school was always looking for new students, and she loves it when young students begin and then the parents want to follow. “It is a great activity to do together,” she said.
