The 2023 Legal Topics for Seniors Diary is out now, and filled with practical tips.

We could all use a few practical tips to avoid scams, plan for retirement, make a will and get financial help, but this year the free 2023 Legal Topics for Seniors Diary has been prepared for seniors.

Seniors can now collect or order the free diary online now.

Member for Cootamundra, Steph Cooke encouraged local seniors to collect a free copy of the diary to help them plan for the year ahead.

“I’m pleased to share that seniors across the electorate can now pick up a free 2023 Legal Aid diary from my electorate offices located at Young and Junee, while stocks last,” Ms Cooke said.

“This helpful diary provides practical tips and information about common issues impacting seniors.”

Seniors can also get their hands on a 2023 Legal Topics for Seniors Wall Calendar.

Attorney General, Mark Speakman said some seniors could be impacted by legal issues relevant to again.

“The information in the Legal Topics for Seniors Diary helps seniors to understand their rights, and details where they can access advice and support if they are experiencing discrimination, elder abuse or financial exploitation,” Mr Speakman said.

“Both the diary and calendar provides useful information in clear, straightforward language.”

Minister for Seniors Mark Coure said the Legal Aid diary provided simple yet effective lips to help seniors stay up-to-date.

“In this day and age, it can be hard to keep on top of everything we need to do or be across,” Mr Coure said.

“The diary and calendar speaks directly to seniors with topics and information to help them know when to take action on certain matters, or even act as a prompt to make sure their affairs are in order.”

The calendar and diary include artwork by Aboriginal artist of Dharawal, Bidjigal and Dhungutti descent, Garry Purchase.
