Freedom In The Air Tonight will bring some of the best selling artists of their time to life next week.

Phil Collins, Bruce Springsteen and George Michael are three of the greatest selling artists of their time, with a body of hits spanning over 50 years and eight of Australia’s finest musicians will pay tribute to them on Tuesday, April 4 at The Factory Theatre.

Led by frontman Ric Herbert, this dream team of Aussie artists may well have a Hungry Heart finding an Easy Lover for some Dancing In The Dark before the night is through.

Herbert has worked regularly with premium guitarist, Peter Northcote and also fronts legendary 80s band Matt Finish and The Get RicH Band.

With his experience in stage plays, musical theatre, TV and film, Herbert is perfectly suited to take you on an emotional voyage through what can only be described as an unforgettable musical experience and a true showcase of the music of some of the world’s most loved performers.

Herbert will be joined by Ally Friendship, Justin Bianchi, Peter Rundle, Bill Kotevski, Ben Marshall, David Roberts and new guy Brett Sams.

Stellar Sydney singer, Ally Friendship is an accomplished artist who has worked tirelessly in bands and charity fundraising events.

She has also shared the stage with Aussie icons, The Screaming Jets, Peter Northcote, Kevin Borich and more.

Vocals and bass will be supplied by Justin Bianchi, who is a musical director and bassist with an impressive array of credits to his name - from the Doc Neeson band, Matt Finish, Phil Emmanuel, Steve Edmonds and The Sicarios to the Oz Rock Roadshow.

Bianchi has also performed in musicals - Buddy Holly Story, Chess and Jesus Christ Superstar.

Pianist and keyboard maestro, Peter Rundle will thrill the audience with his skill on the keys, thanks in part to his experience with The Drifters, Leo Sayer, Ian Moss, Christine Anu and JPY.

Rundle has played for Prime Ministers and dignitaries, in festivals and major events locally and internationally.

He has even composed and recorded soundtracks for TV and internationally for National Geographic.

Lending his skill on the strings, Veteran guitarist, Bill Kotevski BM has deep roots in both classical and jazz.

His diverse range of experience comes from playing in original bands and tribute shows - INXS, Bon Jovi, Cold Chisel and U2.

Multi-instrumentalist, Ben Marshall on keys and guitar, has produced and traversed a wide array of musical genres and performed with many artists, including Uptown Funk Band, Tania Bowra Band, Get RicH, Slide McBride and Big Hit Orchestra.

He’s played with legends of Australian rock such as Doc Neeson (The Angels), Mark Gable, Frank Zappa Show, One Hit Wonders, Pretenders, Funk and Soul bands, now versatile hard-hitting drummer, Dave Roberts brings his skill to Freedom In The Air.

Discovered fronting the Queen tribute band, Radio Ga-Ga and Pearl Jam Show, Jeremy Spoke, newcomer, Brett Sams is the real deal - a rock star in the making.

With a vocal sound and energy reminiscent of a young Bruce Springsteen, he is the perfect choice to cover the amazing artist.
