Hawkesbury Hubs returned this week, with a session at Wilberforce School of Arts on Wednesday and another at Colo Heights Community Hall yesterday. Another hub will take place today at St Albans School of Arts from 9:30 am.

The Community Hubs have become a place for people to gather, discuss issues and celebrate Hawkesbury in all its glory.

They have facilitated many services, organisations and individuals to come together and have their say about how important issues affect their local communities.

They’ve supported community connection with services as wide-reaching as mental health, physical fitness, arts and crafts classes, improved digital literacy skills and other specialised activities.

Bowen Mountain and Bilpin residents are welcome to attend any of the three remaining hubs:

  • Wilberforce School of Arts on Wednesdays;
  • Colo Heights Community Hall on Thursdays; and
  • St Albans School of Arts on Fridays.

The Digital Literacy Agency will offer free fortnightly one-on-one digital mentoring at Hawkesbury Community Hubs, with mentors assisting individuals to become more confident using technology and teaching scam awareness and how to protect personal digital information.

Phone (02) 9090 4141 to book an appointment.

Hubs will continue weekly until June 28.
