Hawkesbury Council Seeks Community Input On Shaping Its Towns And Villages

The Draft Hawkesbury Place Plans are now on public display to give residents and local business owners the chance to provide feedback and offer suggestions on the best way to shape the future of the region’s towns and villages.

These Place Plans have been created to develop and celebrate the unique local characteristics of each place as well as provide a vision document to assist in applying for more grants.

They have been prepared based on the outcomes of community engagement in accordance with the Community Engagement Policy.

A copy of the draft plans can be viewed at:

  • Council’s Administration Building, 366 George Street, Windsor, Monday to Friday between 9 am and 4 pm.
  • Richmond Branch Library, 29 West Market Street, Richmond, Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 6 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm.
  • Hawkesbury Central Library, 300 George Street, Windsor, Monday to Friday from 9 am to 7 pm, Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm and Sunday from 2 pm to 5 pm.

You may make submissions in writing addressed to General Manager, Hawkesbury City Council, PO Box 146, Windsor NSW 2756 or via email at council@hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au.

Submissions will be received until the close of business on Wednesday, June 21.

All submissions will be considered and may be included in Council’s meeting business paper.
