Hawkesbury Services Commit To Monthly Support Hub

Hawkesbury’s Community Support Hub will host its first monthly event on Wednesday, April 5 from 11:30 am to 2 pm.

Hawkesbury Helping Hands has joined forces with Link Wentworth to showcase the amazing services available across the Hawkesbury region.

These two organisations have been canvassing the region’s community services with the aim of offering a monthly Community Support Hub event.

The first Community Support Hub will take place on Wednesday, April 5 and will repeat every first Wednesday of the month.

If you need help accessing housing support, financial information, spiritual guidance, disability support or just some general advice, you will be assured of finding the assistance you need at the hub.

Some of the services already signed up include:

  • Aboriginal Housing;
  • Benevolent Society;
  • Centrelink;
  • Community Foundation of North West Sydney;
  • Department of Community and Justice;
  • Flourish;
  • Gender Centre;
  • Legal Aid;
  • Nepean Health;
  • Nova Employment;
  • Platform Youth Services;
  • Services NSW;
  • Stride Aged Care;
  • Strong Nation; and
  • WHO’s

There will even be a Justice of the Peace (JP) on hand.

So head down to Unit E/28 Walker Street, South Windsor, enjoy a free sausage sizzle and coffee van while helping yourself to an array of community information on Wednesday, April 5 from 11:30 am to 2 pm.
