Light at the end of the tunnel for Hawkesbury residents

Light Up Windsor

Richmond town centre and Windsor Mall will soon be treated to new Christmas trees, bringing a festive atmosphere to the area. The two trees will be in place of the annual ‘Light Up Windsor Christmas', with the event postponed, and reinvented, in 2021.

The Federal Government’s Regional Tourism Bushfire Recovery Grant program assisted in re-allocating funds within the area. Hawkesbury residents now have the opportunity to take part in the new ‘Light Up Windsor Trail’ event highlighting the magic of the town. The victory of rescheduling the local event will benefit local businesses, and with the festive spirit in the air, residents are encouraged to take advantage of the small businesses offerings within the region and shop local.

For the time being, we encourage the residents of Hawkesbury to find alternative ways to light up their life this Christmas. Spending time with family and friends, showing appreciation for the small joys in life, and supporting the local community this christmas is sure to bring the light back this festive season.
