Scarecrow Festival

Christmas is approaching, presents are being wrapped, and scarecrows are being built. Scarecrows? Yes, you read correctly! In a year of twists and turns, we have come to expect the unexpected. The annual Scarecrow festival is being hosted by The Secret Garden alongside the Christmas markets, combining the traditional festivities together for an exciting take on halloween and christmas cheer. Spooky contests will again be held in the annual scarecrow building festivities, Categories of competition include but are not limited to schools, daycare centres, businesses, disability organisations, individuals and groups who are up for the challenge.

The day will be filled with fun and excitement, with the Christmas markets being held alongside the scarecrow competitions. Food, activities, stalls and an exciting day awaits for the community wishing to attend. The event will be hosted on December 5th, 2020 at The Secret Gardens, located at Clydesdale Lane University of Western Sydney Richmond. For those wishing to enter into the contest, or run a stall on the day, please contact events@nwds.org.au with any questions and for additional information.
