Virginia Field, Karen Gray and Kerryn Coombs-Valeontis, authors of Nature Heals will be at Hawkesbury Central Libray on Wednesday, September 6 from 6 pm for a talk and nature-based creative activity.

Nature-based activities are increasingly recognised as essential tools in the healing process.

Nature-based therapies can be used for people of all ages and for all circumstances in life such as grief and loss, anxiety, social isolation, and more.

Reconnecting with the natural world and nourishing our sense of self through mindfulness practices is what nature-based healing is all about.

This hands-on workshop is a must for people seeking tools to help themselves and those seeking to help others through natural, meditative means.

Participants will have the opportunity to meet the authors and express themselves through a simple, nature-based creative activity to enhance understanding and appreciation of this method.

This free event will be held at the Hawkesbury Central Library, 300 George Street, Windsor.

Bookings are essential via https://www.eventbrite.com.au/o/hawkesbury-library-service-11842492197 or call 4560 4460.
