Windsor Says Goodbye To Its NAB Branch

Windsor branch of National Australia Bank will close its doors for the last time on Thursday, August 10.

Windsor residents who bank at National Australia Bank (NAB) will need to find another branch if they intend to continue banking face-to-face.

The local branch, situated in an iconic building in the heart of Windsor, will close Thursday, August 10 - a decision made due to less than 30 per cent of customers regularly banking at surrounding branches.

While it isn’t great news for those customers who regularly visit the branch to manage their financial affairs, it isn’t all doom and gloom.

NAB has said that every staff member employed at the branch would be offered alternative roles within the bank.

Residents also have the option of doing their personal and business banking at Australia Post, with the ability to deposit up to $9,999 cash or five cheques per day.

Cash withdrawals, cheque account balances and business banking change/cash float are also possible.

Of course, you can also pay your bills at the Post Office and there are no additional fees or charges.
