The Hawkesbury Paddlewheeler

The Windsor community will welcome Hawkesbury Paddlewheeler home with a gala day on Saturday 18th November from 7 am to 3 pm at Windsor Wharf following a three-year absence.

Gather your family and friends, pack a picnic lunch and toss in a picnic rug so you can share a meal as you settle in for a wonderful day at Windsor Wharf.

This event is sponsored by The Windsor Experience Group, NBMPHN grants and The Paddlewheeler.

There will be plenty of live entertainment, food and soft drinks on offer tomorrow.

Current owner of The Hawkesbury Paddlewheeler, Captain Ian Burns said that he and members of the community had been working hard to clean and repair the paddlewheeler prior to the gala day event.

There have been a lot of hands-on deck helping Captain Ian clean and mend the beloved water vessel.

Captain Ian said there would still be plenty of work needed after tomorrow’s gala day.

Formerly named Turrumburra, the Hawkesbury Paddlewheeler was built and launched in 1976 by the Reynolds family at Roseville.
