Chelsea Windon from Xtreme Talent Co wins Teacher of the Year in the READY SET DANCE 2021 Business Awards.

South Windsor is home of this year’s READY SET DANCE Teacher of the Year.

That’s right, Chelsea Windon from Xtreme Talent Co has been recognised in the prestigious 2021 READY SET DANCE Business Awards.

Miss Windon was overwhelmed with her award.

“It is such an honour,” she said.

“This program is so amazing and I am so proud to be a part of not only the program, but its amazing and supportive community, too.

“Xtreme Talent Co is the only studio in the Hawkesbury area that offers READY SET DANCE, and is the official Windsor location.

“Winning this award has truly been the highlight of 2021 for me, after what has been yet another year in lockdown and taking our classes online, it really has been tough.

“I couldn’t be happier - to be recognised as the official READY SET DANCE Teacher of the Year.”

The Awards incorporate a variety of categories representing areas of business, including Outstanding Studio of the Year, Business Growth and Team Culture. These awards celebrate and showcase the outstanding hard work, determination and achievements of the many dance studios and teachers dedicated to getting the world moving one preschooler at a time.

One of the directors of RSD, Glenda Yee said this year, more than any other, they wanted to connect their community and reward outstanding leaders who have ensured preschoolers can continue to experience the magic of dance regardless of what is happening in the world.

“Chelsea is a thoroughly deserving winner of Teacher of the Year,” Ms Yee said.

“Her business growth is a testament to the passionate energy she puts into her teaching.

“She has created many special moments for not only the children in her care but their parents as well.”

The directors of READY SET DANCE know firsthand the feelings of accomplishment being a finalist in an award category can bring to the business.

This year, they won the Best National Activity for Preschoolers and Best International Activity for Preschoolers in 2021 What’s on 4 Kids Awards.

Belinda Agostino, Jade Barnes, Natalie Ettingshausen, Priscilla Severino and Glenda Yee, who founded READY SET DANCE, won four AusMumpreneur Awards, including the major award AusMumpreneur of the Year 2020. Now they are expanding globally, piloting 50 dance studios across the US earlier this year and recently launching the world’s largest dance convention in Las Vegas.
