FIRST-AUDITIONS-ARE-IN!-(1)

Talented youngsters are urged to register for the inaugural Hawkesbury Arts and Rising Talents showcase scheduled for December 6.

Are you younger than 18 years of age with a talent that just screams to be showcased?

If so, Hawkesbury Arts and Rising Talents is looking for you right now. In fact, they need you to jump on their website at www.hawkesburyartsandrisingtalents.com and register for their Youth Talent Showcase at the Richmond Regent on December 6.

That’s right, this not-for-profit organisation believes in your talent and your right to explore it so much that it has created a space just for that purpose.

Whether you’re a singer, dancer, actor, magician, comedian, musician, or a talent yet to be seen, H.A.R.T. wants to see what you’ve got, no matter how big, small, loud or quiet, crazy or not so crazy - the stage is yours.

Here are the rules:

  • You must be under 18 years of age;
  • Your act must be a maximum of 5 minutes long;
  • You have precisely 5 minutes to get on and off stage (that is two-and-a-half minutes to get on and two-and-a-half minutes to get off);
  • You are responsible for all the equipment your act needs.
  • First auditions are due by midnight on Sunday, October 22 and must be by video only. You can upload your video to YOUTUBE and enter your link on the entry form (recommended by H.A.R.T.) or use WeTransfer and email the file link to info@hawkesburyartsandrisingtalents.com. As a last resort, you can email your video to info@hawkesburyartsandrisingtalents.com.

It is free to enter the showcase and finalists will be notified by email on Sunday, November 5.

A live audition day for selected finalists will be held on Saturday, November 11.

Whether you’re a budding actor ready to take the stage by storm or an aspiring artist with a canvas waiting to be filled, H.A.R.T. is your space to explore, create and let your talents shine.

The talent showcase promises to be an evening that celebrates the awe-inspiring talents of our community’s youth.
